What is functional training?
-Functional training is workouts that help you in your every day life. Exercises like the deadlift to teach you the proper way to pick something heavy up, the squat to help you to bend over and reach down properly, and push-ups to help build strength to get up and down.
Is this dangerous?
Functional training can be dangerous.
But not in the ways you believe. Doing complicated movements and exercises with heavy weight improperly can lead to injury if not done correctly. Our coaches provide the assistance to you to help you prevent injury and increasing strength properly.
What is an AMRAP?
AMRAP is a acronym for As Many Reps As Possible. You may see this written on the board for the workout. It simply means you try to do the amount of reps as many times as you can in the amount of time set.
How do I get started?
You can contact us or come in 15 minutes before a class time to get started. You will need to fill out a registration form before you begin. You can try it up to a full week for free
What do I have to bring?
Bring yourself, comfortable gym clothes and shoes, and water and or towel.
